In 2009, Tom became the youngest ever recipient of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer Award for his debut hour, Tom Ballard Is What He Is. Rob Preston is a character and sketch comedian. He first began performing comedy at university with The Leeds Tealights with whom he took two sketch shows to the Fringe in 2018 and 2019, before he moved into solo performing in late 2021. Since then, he has been shortlisted for BBC New Comedian of the Year 2024, Pleasance Reserve 2025 and was a semi-finalist in the Leicester Square Sketch Off 2025.
