I grew up playing classical piano, but failed my conservatory audition at 18. After some time focusing on MDMA, I started stand-up in 2011. During the pandemic I came back to the piano and now I've combined them. It's my favourite piece, Chopin's Nocturne in Eb Major, presented with jokes by a bald, Australian dickhead with a beard.

Sashi’s surname - Perera - means pear tree in Portuguese. You won’t believe how mad Portugal gets if you mention why it’s a super common name in Sri Lanka hehe.

Pear Tree is a stand up comedy show about pear shaped events between Sri Lanka and Australia. It’s about family, love, homes, knives, kids and cats - spliced with a bit of geopolitics and singing. As with her last show Boundaries (now on YouTube) Sashi’s signature observations remain dedicated to taking absolutely nothing too seriously.

Sashi is a Sri Lankan Australian comedian, writer and recovering lawyer. After working with refugee organisations around the globe, she moved to Melbourne to do her masters and fell arse backwards into comedy. She’s now one of Australia’s fastest rising comedians, known for her sharp wit, unique international tales and bizarre insights.

In 2023, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Since then, she’s sold out shows in six countries, opened for Hannah Gadsby and made a slew of television appearances including Channel 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention and ABC’s Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee. Her memoir Standstill was published by Penguin Random House in August 2025.

Two-time ARIA winner, and winner of Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Newcomer Award Tom Ballard is one of Australia's most celebrated talents and is internationally acclaimed.

In 2009, Tom became the youngest ever recipient of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer Award for his debut hour, Tom Ballard Is What He Is. Imogen Andrews: The Unlikeable Worms (WIP)

Rob Preston is a character and sketch comedian. He first began performing comedy at university with The Leeds Tealights with whom he took two sketch shows to the Fringe in 2018 and 2019, before he moved into solo performing in late 2021. Since then, he has been shortlisted for BBC New Comedian of the Year 2024, Pleasance Reserve 2025 and was a semi-finalist in the Leicester Square Sketch Off 2025. His comedy writing has featured on Radio 4 Extra and he has performed comedy at leading London comedy venues including The Pleasance, Soho Theatre, Up the Creek, Angel Comedy and the Museum of Comedy.

As a comic actor, he starred in the comedy play BRAINSLUTS at Edinburgh Fringe 2025, which received ★★★★ reviews from The Guardian, The Times and The Stage, and was singled out as a ‘crowd favourite’ by Broadway Baby. He will also appear in Leo Reich’s Channel 4/A24 sitcom IT GETS WORSE in spring 2026 and will reprise his role in the London transfer of BRAINSLUTS at Seven Dials Playhouse this February. Alongside live work, Rob has a strong social media presence from posting short sketches and character clips. He currently has over one million likes across platforms, with 1.5k followers on Instagram and almost 13k followers on TikTok.
