Tom Ballard

Two-time ARIA winner, and winner of Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Newcomer Award Tom Ballard is one of Australia's most celebrated talents and is internationally acclaimed.

In 2009, Tom became the youngest ever recipient of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer Award for his debut hour, Tom Ballard Is What He Is. He was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe for Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred, while his 2016 show The World Keeps Happening was nominated for Best Show in both Melbourne and Edinburgh, claiming the 2016 Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer.

Ballard co-hosted the beloved Australian show, 'The Breakfast Show' on national youth radio station 'Triple J' for four years, winning an ARIA for Best Comedy Release, and moving into television to host his very own ABC TV panel show Reality Check. The series dissected the insane world of reality television and brought Tom to hosting his own satirical late night show Tonightly with Tom Ballard for ABC Comedy.

Ballard has appeared on Celebrity Mastermind, Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee, Claire Hooper's House of Games, and hosted the podcast Like I'm A Six-Year Old for eight years.
