We aim to make Hyde Park Book Club accessible for all. If you have any access needs, please contact us before your visit so we can help.

Opening Hours

  • Sunday – Thursday: 9:00am – 12:00am

  • Friday – Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00am

Event door times vary – check your ticket for the correct entry time.

Venue Access

  • Front entrance: step-free access to the main bar and café.

  • Snug event space: step-free via wheelchair ramp.

  • Basement event space: approximately 18 steps from the front; step-free access via rear entrance on Victoria Road (staff assistance required).

Ground floor accessible toilet available.

Seating & Viewing

Most events are standing, but seating can be reserved for those with access needs.

Accessible viewing areas are available; we don’t have a designated platform but will do our best to accommodate.

Personal Assistant (PA) Tickets

If you need a PA to attend an event, email us with:

  • Proof of eligibility (PIP/DLA letter, Blue Badge, Access Card, etc.)

  • Proof of a valid ticket

Once approved, a PA ticket will be confirmed by email.

Travel & Parking

  • Taxis: drop-off on Headingley Lane.

  • Bus: nearest stops are Hyde Park Corner and North Hill Road (~3-minute walk).

  • Train: Burley Park Station (~25–30 min walk); Leeds Station (~10–15 min taxi).

  • Limited on-site parking; additional on-street parking nearby on Grosvenor Road.

Early Entry

If you require early entry, please contact us so staff can assist on arrival.

Lighting, Sound & Crowds

  • Some events use strobe or flashing lights; signage will be displayed if used.

  • Events may be busy and loud, especially near the stage. Staff can help you find a suitable space.

Medical Needs & Assistance Dogs

  • You may bring medication, food, drink, or medical equipment. Refrigeration can be arranged if requested in advance.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome; water bowls available. Some events may not be suitable due to noise or crowd density, so contact us beforehand.

Staff Assistance & Arrival

Staff are available throughout the venue to assist with navigation, seating, and access to different spaces.

For the basement, please let staff know if you need step-free access via the rear entrance.
