Elaine Robertson: Delulu

  • Hyde Park Book Club 27-29 Headingley Lane Leeds, LS6 1BL United Kingdom (map)

Tickets HERE

With support from Maxine Wade.

Elaine is famous. Elaine is the worst person in the world. Elaine saw Bootsy Collins on a child's bike outside a Dominoes in Gateshead* *None of these things are true. Elaine Robertson is Delulu.

It is no wonder that Elaine Robertson gets a bit delulu. But the actual, psychosis sort that makes you think you’ve seen a funk legend on a child’s bicycle in Gateshead.

In her hit award winning Edinburgh Festival show, come see this ‘groundbreaking’ comedian take you on one of the most hilariously moving journeys you’ll ever go on.

From working in a care home during the pandemic, to being a pub singing princess impersonator, this is a stand up show that is not like any other you’ve seen.

It’s a show that leaves you feeling different to when you arrive.

Maxine started performing stand up in 2019 and became one of the most exciting new acts on the northern comedy scene. Juggling her full time nursing job and with the pandemic comedy took a back seat for a couple of years.
However the moment she returned she won Best Breakthrough Act at the Yorkshire Comedy Awards 2023, regional finalist in BBC’s New Comedy Award, finalist in Hull Comedian of the year 2023 and Chortle Student Comedian of the Year semi finalist 2024 and was chosen as part of this years ‘Best in Class’ showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe.
