Genre-blurring collective The Parachute Testers introduce a deeply atmospheric sound with the release of their forthcoming debut album, Halfway to Everywhere on October 30th 2026 and a return to HPBC as part of their UK tour in April 2027 after a sell out show in the snug in September.

Blending grounded, earthy folk with ambient and indie textures, the band create music that feels both intimate and expansive. 

Their sound is defined by soaring, emotive female vocals layered over a rich interplay of acoustic instrumentation and subtle electronics. Warm guitar lines weave beneath shimmering synths, while contributions from Colm Mac Con Iomaire (The Frames / Swell Season) add cinematic depth through expressive string arrangements.

Formed by musicians from Wexford and Leeds the group brings together diverse influences into a cohesive and transportive sonic identity. Their music draws on the emotion and spaciousness of modern indie and dream-folk, while maintaining a strong melodic core and organic sensibility.
