Formed around frontman and songwriter Eamonn McNamee, the band have built their identity through a deep immersion in the lineage of soul, drawing inspiration from the emotional directness of Sam Cooke, the groove of Stax Records and the enduring spirit of Northern Soul.

“We’ve always been drawn to soul music because it says something real,” McNamee explains. “There’s nowhere to hide in it. It’s direct, it’s emotional, and when it’s right, it connects with people immediately.”

Across new album Hope and Recreation, that approach is brought to life through rich arrangements, punchy horn lines and a rhythm section that moves with warmth and momentum - capturing the feel of a band playing together with intent.
