Let's Unite The Tribes, while raising money for Unity Day by bringing some different style and fashion of music from bands and DJ’s.

Sis Star Seletas will begin the event, bringing her favourite lovers rock tunes out for you to enjoy. Then Cleve will come in, playing piano as he sings songs from soul and funk to reggae. Being One will raise the vibration with some uplifting roots reggae, before D3 comes in to change the vibe, bringing her high-energy word smith skills to the bill. Then The Omowale Band will come to the stage, bringing dub poetry your way!! After that, Sistah Smokie will come and light a lyrical fire in the Book Club, leading to take off with Asterias, who will close out the night, by blasting off with some heavy cosmic rock!

All of these forces come together to raise funds for Unity Day, which is a big, free community event that takes place on Woodhouse Moore during the summer. It is run by Unity Leeds which has recently gained CIC status, and is completely run by volunteers.

Lion hEd Events has also been helping to organise the community areas of Unity Day, which will be operating running during the first section of this event, starting from 3pm with stalls, workshops, spoken word and acoustic acts.
