Elf Traps bring their debut album tour to Leeds. Formed by Mercury Prize nominee Rob Turner (Mammal Hands, ex-GoGo Penguin) and Liviu Gheorghe (ex-Matthew Halsall/Gondwana), they fuse spiritual jazz with glitch, jungle and live electronica - drums and synths tangle with drum machines, samplers, chopped vocals and robotic percussion, swinging between calm and explosive peaks. No two shows are alike. Early champions include Graham Massey (808 State) & Gilles Peterson. Debut album lands Oct/Nov 2026.

Special guest Shunya (Alan Keary), son of guitarist Dave Keary (Van Morrison), moves between violin, bass and vocals, blending futuristic Irish folk, jazztronica and electronic sound. He's sold out Village Underground, written orchestral arrangements for Abel Selaocoe's BBC Prom, and remixed GoGo Penguin. Rough Trade calls him an "enigmatic new discovery."
