This exhibition presents a custom typeface developed through research into the history of printmaking. Drawing inspiration from traditional printing techniques, historic letterforms, and the textures created by ink and press, the typeface explores the relationship between craftsmanship and communication.

“Type Into Print is a showcase exploring a typeface inspired by the history of printmaking. Visitors can view posters displaying the finished typeface alongside research into three key eras of print that influenced its design. A zine explains the creative process, research, and development behind the project. The exhibition also includes a hands-on printing activity using custom wooden type created for the final typeface, allowing visitors to produce their own prints and take them home as a keepsake.
