Cafe Theologique is an opportunity to hear from world-class theologians in an informal setting, with an emphasis on conversation. This event features Dr Helen Paynter, Director of The Centre for the Study of the Bible an Violence, and author of several books, including, 'The Church, the Far Right and the Claim to Christianity'. She will be addressing the claim of several right wing politicians and campaigners that the UK is in a battle to preserve Christian culture.

Dr Paynter will give a 20 minute presentation, after which there will be discussion around tables and then, after a break, an open conversation.
