With support from Roscoe and The Corvids
Newcastle alt-indie rockers Split the Ticket return to Leeds for their first headliner in the city. Following their debut festival appearance in the summer and a run of shows across the country this autumn, Split the Ticket are coming back to Leeds for what will be a huge night of some of the best up and coming alternative indie rock the north has to offer. Split the Ticket have revolutionised their sound and their energy since their first few appearance in Leeds this year. Dubbed in 2024 by NARC magazine as 'seamless, thought-provoking, and effortlessly danceable', the young band will be delivering a self-booked, self-promoted gig displaying their unique indie-rock sound inspired by post-punk, alternative rock, and shoegaze giants like The Smashing Pumpkins, Fontaines D.C., Been Stellar, Wunderhorse, and Slowdive.
Joining them on the bill are two brilliant Leeds-based bands.
Moving up recently from North Wales are Roscoe. They are a modern Alt-Rock band from North Wales. Formed in 2023, Roscoe wrote their first EP ‘What Do We Do It For?’ Which released in early 2025. They went on to record ‘Legacy (Acoustic)’ which replaces the indie-driven sounds of the EP with an intense intimacy. Since the release of the EP, Roscoe are relentlessly exploring the obscurity of youth culture, working to discover something new and entirely their own. If you don't know, get to know.
Opening the night are The Corvids, a Leeds indie-rock powerhouse traversing the scene with purpose. With their "fresh, dynamic take on alternative rock" and their "raw energy and heartfelt lyricism" (NMR), they are not a band to miss. This night will round off a big year of frequent gigs all over Leeds.
This is absolutely not a gig to miss. Guaranteed to warm up your cold Tuesday night in Leeds
