LCSU big band is a student led big band from Leeds Conseravtoire focusing on modern and classic jazz big band repertoire, we take inspiration from bands such as the Ellington big band and buddy rich big band but also more contemporary big bands such as the Tom Kubis big band and Sammy Nestico Orchestra. Our set includes contemporary big band pieces to very well known classics.
