Following a successful Edinburgh Fringe run where the show sold out for final dates Paul brings the first known show of the comedy retail bereavement genre to Hyde Park Book Club.
As a socially isolated teenager, Paul found solace in the glorious aisles of his favourite branch of the 90s and 00s chain Somerfield. He looks at his obsession with the stores' mood lighting, staff call-out codes and refund policy and shares the heartache of the store closing, outlining the five stages of supermarket grief.
