Thanks to everyone who joined us for the four Situation Leeds CHATSHOW events over the past couple of months. It was fantastic to instigate wider discussions on the place of public art in the city. 

We’re now looking ahead to what’s next, and what came from the last event was a desire for an informal collaborative space, so the next event will be a chance for people to come together, support one another, and share experiences to build a stronger visual art community.

We’re interested to see how these gatherings might continue, potentially as regular meet-ups, shaped by the needs and ideas of the group. 

Following the meet-up, there is also an opening for the newest show at Hyde Park  Art Club, The Wrangthorn Enquirer: ‘News From Now and Here’, in the main space from 8 pm.
