Celebrating exciting literary talent from the North

We invite you to a night of literary splendour on 17 July at Hyde Park Book Club!

Featured writers and book types will dazzle you with short readings from their work, after which you're welcome to come and chat to them to find out more.

Some of the featured writers are working with Unbound, a crowd funded publisher, so if you are interested in their work, they'll happily show you how you can make a pledge to get their books out into the real world, in exchange for some great rewards!

Others, who have found a traditional publisher, are looking for a little exposure before they unleash their books on the world.

All the writers will be around afterwards to answer any questions about books, writing, publishing, favourite cheeses, the nature of the cosmos, etc. In between, there will be cake, drinks, conversation, free stuff and at least one heated debate about e-books versus "real" books.
